Founded in 2011 by Mark Tarlov, Maison L’Envoyé was born from a singular passion: an relentless pursuit of "gilded terroir" to showcase the holy trinity of cool-climate varieties—Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Gamay Noir. Named a 2015 Winery to Watch by Wine & Spirits, Maison L’Envoyé has evolved into a global fellowship of winemaking across two premier growing regions: Burgundy, France, and Oregon's Willamette Valley.
Pinot Noir is our linchpin. Across both continents, our winemaking philosophy blends modern accessibility with deep respect for site expression. We favor techniques that highlight pure fruit character and balance without heavy oak, rough tannins, or harsh alcoholic extraction. From the granite slopes of Morgon to the rolling hillsides of the Willamette Valley, our wines offer crisp minerality, filigree acidity, and candid simplicity—avoiding excess so every bottle speaks clearly of its origin.
