Two Messengers Pinot Noir
The season began with a notably cold and wet spring, leading to one of the latest budbreaks on record, occurring between April 27 and May 1. However, following budbreak, the weather shifted dramatically to warm and sunny conditions, with only a single rain event in June. This dry period allowed for rapid vine growth and fruit development. A brief heatwave in mid-August, with temperatures reaching 102-107°F, caused some heat damage, but overall, the weather remained favorable for ripening.

The fruit was handpicked and 70% de-stemmed, then underwent an indigenous ferment in two and five-ton stainless steel open top tanks. The grapes were allowed to "infuse" as whole berries at a moderate temperature, in an oxygen rich environment until pressed. The wine then matured in French oak barriques (25% new) for 10 months.
